This pattern is written in English and uses imperial measurements. There are printable templates for every pattern piece if you prefer not to measure while cutting. SVG cut files are also included for the non-rectangular pieces for use with cutting machines.

- Exterior Fabric: 12'' roll of vinyl or one vinyl XL Double Panel
- Exterior Accent: 1/8 yard x 1 yard of a thin vinyl
- Interior Fabric: 1/2 yard of cotton woven or nylon repel
- Insulation: 1/2 x 3/4 yard of insulation like Insul-Brite or 1 yard x 12'' roll of 1/16'' - 1/8'' thick adhesive insulation
- 2/3 yard of Decovil Light (Pellon 525, 17'' width)
- 3/4 yard of Pellon SF101 (or similar with a 16-20'' width) if using a non-adhesive insulation
- 1/3 yard x 1/3 yard of mesh. I use the mesh from ByAnnie
- Two yards of 1/2” double-fold bias tape or 1'' fold-over elastic if selecting the binding method
- Two yards of stiff 3/32” cording. I use this: 3/32" Upholstery Firm Plastic Foam Welt Cord Piping
- Contact cement if selecting the drop-in “cheat” option. I use Tanner's Bond Contact Cement
- Coordinating thread
- Two or four fasteners (rivets and/or Chicago screws)
- Two 1” strap ends or two 1'' D-rings/triangle rings
- 1 1/4 yards of #5 zipper tape
- Four #5 zipper pulls
- 1/8” and/or 1/4” double-sided tape
- Optional: 5/8” grosgrain ribbon
- Optional: 3/4” double-sided tape or a strong spray adhesive like 3M Super 77 Multipurpose Adhesive
- Optional: If you'd like to waterproof cotton woven fabric for the lining, you can use Liquid Vinyl or Odicoat
- Optional: Edge paint (color and top coat) for the front panel zipper cutout
- Optional: Decorative magnet for back slip pocket
- Optional: Loctite Super Glue Easy Squeeze Gel (for screws)
- Optional: Nylon washers to reinforce fasteners. I use Nylon M4 4mm x 17mm x 1mm washers
- Universal 80/12 needle (for the lining if using a drop-in method)
- Microtex 100/16 and/or 110/18 for the exterior depending on material thickness chosen
- Narrow or zipper sewing foot
- All-purpose or compensating sewing foot
- Sewing clips
- Lighter (to seal raw edges of zipper tape)
- Tape to assemble pattern pieces
- Optional: Tool to apply edge paint. I use an orange wood stick, there are also roller end applicator tools that can be used instead
- Optional: Keyfob pliers (or other soft-tipped clamping tool) to compress bulky areas
- Optional: Seam roller tool
- Optional: Sewing edge guide (magnetic or screw-in)
- Optional: X-Acto knife or similar precision cutting tool
